SHORT TERM MISSION TRIPS

Learn, Encourage, Enable

Matthew 28:19-20:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We are passionate about connecting cultures and making long-term Christian relationships through correctly done Short-Term Mission Trips. We take small teams to limit our impositions on our local partners for housing, food and transportation. We also plan our trips during the cheapest times of the year to limit money spent to attend. These small groups spend two-weeks working either in our local school or with our local partners on already existing projects that benefit the community. We work WITH the people, giving dignity back to the poor and enable them to take their own steps toward positively affecting their situations. We believe in only doing STM’s when they support the long-term alleviation process that the local Christian ministry has already begun. We do not give “relief” to the people, we help “develop” WITH the people. We help enable the material poor through encouraging their already God-given talents and skills, not by making them entitled.

Please visit our blog page and read “Sort-Term Missions Done Differently” to understand our philosophy on STM's.

Spring 2021

2 Weeks

Worship Conference

Ages: 16 and up

The Pucusana Project believes in the incredible power the Holy Spirit has through worship. We want to see complete Christian revival in Pucusana and believe the best way to starting it is through impactful Christian contemporary worship. Participants of this STM will help set-up and take-down the conference and also help lead worship (in Spanish) with local singers and musicians.

FALL 2021

2 Weeks

Participating in the School Olympics

Ages: High School & College

The Pucusana Project believes in the power of spreading the Word of God through relationships. Through our partnership with Pierre Laplace School this STM will bring young adults to participate in the High School Olympic games. For the 1st week, students will partner together to participate in races, games and arts. For the 2nd week everyday, there will be Bible classes and discussion time between students to share their beliefs.

SPRING 2021

2 Weeks

Teaching our Free Business Course

Age: Adults

The Pucusana Project partners with Pierre Laplace School to offer a FREE 2-week business course to the adults living in Pucusana. In this course, the locals will learn basic business education from successful American and Peruvian businessmen and women. They will learn how to draft their own resume, one-on-one interview skills, how to start their own companies and also insights on what documentations they need to submit with their own government.
