Come, Learn, Enable Change
Matthew 28:19-20:
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The Pucusana Project is working to alleviate poverty in Pucusana, Peru, by providing quality educational programs to children, creating adult classes to address social issues and improve family dynamics, enabling financial stability through business training, and cultivating a thriving Christian community through discipleship, worship, and church planting. For these changes to be long-lasting, having generational impact and even global impact, we must train up the next generation in the successful ways of poverty alleviation and church planting. The Pucusana Project believes it is crucial for anyone contemplating ministry work to have first hand ministry experience. That is why we offer an internship program.

If you are over the age of 18 and are interested in gaining international Christian ministry experience, then we might be a good fit for you. In each quarter of the year, we offer a three-month internship. Preferably, two guys or two gals will come serve in our programs. You don't have to know any Spanish to qualify, but we deeply encourage learning some before coming. Our internship program is a great way to encounter another culture, practise Spanish, serve children, gain nonprofit and international business experience, and participate in Christian ministry, teaching, and church planting. Our program also includes a mentorships under the Wallace family and weekly Bible Study. Internships are also great for college credit and helping a young adult move forward on a career path.

Naomi, Intern
I interned with the Pucusana Project for three months and I had so much fun working at the mobile library and reinforcement classes. I made a lot of friends from the Home Church. I feel very blessed to have gotten to be a part of this ministry/family. I cannot praise the team in Pucusana enough. I learned so much about the world and ministry while working with The Pucusana Project, and I know you will too!”

Chyann, Intern
"Do it. It will be the best thing you'll ever do. This internship was a life-changing experience where I created friendships and learned about myself, the Lord, and what it means to run a non-profit in more ways than I could have imagined. After this experience, I was able to get a job as a Youth Director at my church.”
